- 1 box Barilla jumbo shells
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the Barilla jumbo shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Fill each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and arrange them in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with extra mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
