  • 1 box Barilla jumbo shells
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Barilla jumbo shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Fill each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and arrange them in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with extra mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
